Carefully read the text. Think about what the author says he cares about. Remember that the core of the problem always lies the contradiction, conflict. In fact, the problem is the subject of discussion, some difficulty, dispute, controversy. The problem often lies behind the actions and speech of the characters, the biographical facts, historical events, which can be considered as illustration of the problem.
There are several types of problems. Determine what type of your text. Philosophical: the development of society, man's place in the world of people searches for the meaning of life.

Moral: the spiritual life of man, relations between people (selfishness and humanism, kindness and cruelty, honor and dishonor, friendship and betrayal, intelligence and rudeness, conflict of generations).
Environmental: the relationship between man and nature, consumer attitude to nature, ecology and culture, and the ecology of language.
Aesthetic: the human perception of art, education of artistic taste, the role of books in human life, the impact of the Internet and television on children and adolescents.
Select the method of formulation of the problem.First, it is possible to formulate in your own words: "the Author makes us think about the actual problem of choice of life". For this purpose you can use the question: "What influences the formation of human personality? What is the problem on which the author thinking?".Second, you can use the citation: "it should be in our life television?" - this question tries to find the answer of Leonid Zhukhovitskii".Thirdly, it is possible to specify the numbers of the sentences from the text, if the problem has already been formulated by the author.
