You will need
- • photos 35x45 mm;
- • pay legal costs.
Make two photography 35x45 mm (in the case if you intend to apply for temporary identity card of the citizen of the Russian Federation, make 4 photography). In some parts of the FMS of Russia it is possible to do photography directly when applying. Verify that you have this opportunity.
Pay the state duty in the established amount (for passport in case of loss/theft and the replacement of worn document, the fee is higher than in all other cases).
Please contact the office of Federal migration service (passport office) at your place of permanent residence, or the place of stay. Take done photography, the receipt on state duty payment, the old form of the passport (it will need to pass, all documents required for stamping in the new passport needed stamp: certificate of conclusion/termination of the marriage, birth certificates of children, military ID, etc.
Complete an application form for the issuance/replacement of passport. Turn in completed application and all other documents to the employee of the FMS. Get the temporary identity card of the citizen of the Russian Federation (if necessary).
Wait until the deadline for registration of new passport (usually 10 days) and try to visit a subdivision of the FMS. Upon receipt of the passport, carefully check all the data filled in. If you find any inaccuracies or errors, immediately inform the employee of the FMS. Fixed the form you will need to register for free.
Give a temporary ID card (if you received). Place a specimen signature on the form of the passport and the application for issuance of passport and take your new passport and all the documents that you provided to affix the necessary stamps.
Registered users of Unified portal of public and municipal services of the Russian Federation may file an application for issuance (replacement) of the passport online. Registration on the portal is the presence of a pension insurance certificate (SNILS). After entering all required registration data, you will need to wait for a registered letter with an activation code (usually it comes during the week). After entering the code, you will be able to apply for a replacement passport through your personal account.
