Squid rings deep-fried
- Cup of flour;
- 2 eggs;
- 500 g squid rings;
- 0.5 liters of vegetable oil;
- pepper and salt to taste.
Prepare the squid rings. If they're frozen, defrost them beforehand. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
Whisk in a small bowl the eggs with a fork until smooth.
Pour the flour in a shallow dish and mix it with the salt and pepper. You can safely replace pepper your favorite spices.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, preferably deep. Dip each squid ring in the egg and then the flour. Before grilling, shake off excess flour from the rings to contaminate the oil.
Breaded fry rings in hot oil for 3-4 minutes. They need to acquire a rich Golden hue.
Put the fried rings for a while on paper towel. It will absorb excess oil. Then put the ring on a platter and garnish with lemon slices. They can apply mayonnaise or any sauce.
Squid rings in sour cream
- a glass of sour cream;
- 500 g squid rings;
- a bunch of greens;
- salt and pepper to taste.
Clean the onion and finely slice it. Saute the onion in a deep frying pan until tender. It usually takes not less than five or six minutes. While roasting the onions need stirring continuously.
Add the onions sour cream, pepper and salt. Sour cream is better to choose fat. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Send the pan cleaned squid rings and cook the mixture for 4-5 minutes, occasionally stirring it.
Put the finished rings on a plate and garnish with greens, which should be finely chopped.
Salad with squid
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 100 g squid rings;
- bunch of green onions;
- 100 g of cheese;
- 3 eggs;
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise;
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce;
- salt to taste.
Rinse the squid rings and dip them in boiling water for literally 3-4 minutes. Drain and add to the rings soy sauce for 10 minutes.
Boil eggs and carrots. Cut them in small pieces. The same operation make with cheese and green onions.
Put the ingredients in a salad bowl. Drain soy sauce from the calamari rings and send to the same.
In a salad bowl, add mayonnaise and mix everything carefully. Add salt to taste. Delicious and nutritious salad with calamari rings are ready!
